Barrington Irving Visits BES

Yesterday, the students at BES had a very special visitor. Captain Barrington Irving, the youngest person to fly solo around the world, stopped by to say hello. He spoke with the students for almost an hour, sharing his experiences and encouraging each student to pursue their dreams, no matter how lofty they me be. Captain Irving encouraged the students to believe in themselves and to believe that they could make a difference in the world. What an incredible opportunity for our students to learn about various STEM careers from a true expert!
